My name is Krishna, and I am passionate about Physics-based AI Surrogate Modeling, Deep Learning Architectures, Natural Language Processing and Reinforcement Learning. With over 2 years of experience in machine learning and surrogate modeling, I have a strong foundation through a MS in Data Science streamlining concentration in Computational Intelligence and a BS in Industrial Engineering. Although My journey has largely been self-directed, motivated by an endless curiosity and a drive to solve complex data challenges.
I am currently working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at University of Michigan - Dearborn, where my research involves building twin AI Surrogate Model for computationally inexpensive and approximating physical numerical methods in Crystal Plasticity simulations.
Previously, I worked as a Data Scientist at Zomato, where I worked on recommendation algorithm employing Collaborative filtering and personalized menu suggestions based on customer purchase history and regional food preferences through deep neural networks.Currently based in Dearborn, MI, I spend my free time reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring new music genres over a cup of tea.
